Aseem Trivedi Biography
Aseem Trivedi is originally from Unnao district in Uttar Pradesh. He is an Indian political cartoonist and activist, best known for his anti corruption campaign Cartoons Against Corruption. He is a founder member of Save Your Voice, a movement against internet censorship in India.
The activist was recently rewarded with the Courage in Editorial Cartooning Award for 2012 by Cartoonists Rights Network International. He moved to Delhi in 2010, when he was just 22 and continued to work as a freelance cartoonist. He became closely involved with the Anna Hazare led campaign against corruption and displayed several of his cartoons during protests. Aseem was arrested in Mumbai for making eight seditious cartoons in 2012.

Urvashi Dholakia Biography
Urvashi Dholakia is a Indian television actress, who is best known for playing the negative roles, as of Komolika Basu, in the STAR Plus daily soap opera, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, which ran from 2001 to 2008.

SAMPAT PAL Biography
Sampat Pal, an Indian social worker, is the founder and leader of a group of women vigilantes in India’s northern Uttar Pradesh state’s Banda District, called the “gulabi gang” or “pink gang”—so named because many of them wear a uniform of a pink sari.
Sampat Pal Devi, a mother of five and former government health worker as a response to widespread domestic abuse and other violence against women founded the gang in 2006. Gulabi gang is famous for approaching the abusive husbands and beat them up with bamboo sticks unless they stop abusing their wives. They have also stopped child marriages and protested dowry and female illiteracy.
Galabi Gang was reported to have 20,000 members as of 2008.
Inspired by the “Gulabi Gang”, several documentaries have been made. A documentary called “Gulabi Gang”, directed by Nishtha Jain, premiered at the Norwegian Short Film Festival in 2012. A movie called “Pink Saris” has been made about them, directed by Kim Longinotto. Anubhav Sinha is in a process of making another movie on this gang titled” Gulab Gang” In 2008, Oh! Editions published her autobiography “Sampat Pal – A warrior in pink sare”
