Karishma Kotak is a London - based model she
was born in london and has been modelling since the age of 16 for
magazines such as Just seventeen,asian woman,asiana. She also modelled
for designers ralph lauren and FCUK. She has a bachelor of arts degree
in advertising and marketing.She moved to India in sept 2005 where
within two months did the biggest assignment for "Kingfisher Calendar".
In 2006 she did lakme fashion week,she has also done music videos for
Sonu Nigam and Apache Indian. She has now become the brand ambassador
for Dove Shampoo in India.She is best known for her work as the
Kingfisher Girl. She has also appeared in a number of other commercials.
She made her acting debut in the film, "Shankardada Zindabad" (2007) a

Actress Sayantani Ghosh who hasn't been seen in a fullfledged role on TV for a while now, is back in action.
She is gearing up for her new show, which incidentally is looked after
by her boyfriend Bharat Kaul. Sayantani and Bharat have been dating for
almost a decade now, but she had managed to keep it under wraps all this
while.

Firebrand cartoonist Aseem Trivedi
, best known for his anti-corruption campaign 'Cartoons Against
Corruption', will be a contestant on Bigg Boss Season 6 , which starts
on October 7.
Aseem, who was in news after his arrest on September 9 for posting controversial cartoons on his website, is participating in Bigg Boss 6 to be "seen and heard". Cricketer-turned-commentator Navjot Singh Sidhu is another high-profile contestant this season, while Hindi poet Kumar Vishwas, who has been actively involved with Anna Hazare's anti-corruption movement along with Aseem , is also likely to enter the Bigg Boss 6 house.
"Aseem was approached and he has agreed to be on the show," the cartoonists' father Ashok Trivedi, who runs a tent business in Unnav near Kanpur, confirmed to Mail Today.
According to sources, Aseem signed the contract with Colors , the channel airing the show, and the show's producer Endemol on Wednesday night.
The cartoonist was reportedly approached by the channel immediately after he came out of jail but he agreed to appear on the show only this week.
"My son is not glamour struck, nor does he have any inclination to be a part of the showbiz. He wanted to be on the show so that he can be seen and heard," Ashok said.
"He will surely talk about his campaign but only if he is asked about it by other contestants.It is not that he wants to use the show as a platform to highlight his campaign, though I know he would not be able to stop himself if provoked."
"Aseem had time at hand and he thought the show was the best way to reach out to people.He is not doing this for money. He would rather enjoy being inside the house, which is a new experience altogether," his father said.
Aseem has been associated with Hazare's India Against Corruption movement for a while now and had participated in the hunger protest called by Hazare at the MMRDA ground in Mumbai last year.
Earlier, the show's host Salman Khan had said he wants Bigg Boss 6 to be suitable for the family audience. The format of the show has accordingly been changed with the participation of a common man. Vishwas plays the common man, whose aim will be to highlight social issues on the show.
Sidhu, it is learnt, will act as a link between two sections of contestants - the wannabe actors and model on the one hand and the activists on the other.

Although child marriage is illegal in India, she was married at the age of twelve, she tells in her book, Moi, Sampat Pal, chef de gang en sari rose (I, Sampat Pal, gang leader in a pink sari), published by Oh! editions in France in October 2008.

Navjot Singh Sidhu had a volatile career as a cricketer from 1983 to 1999.
He made an uneventful international debut against the West Indies at Ahmedabad in 1983 scoring just 19 runs in his debut Test match. He was given another chance in that series but failed again. He was selected for the 1987 Cricket World Cup in India scoring 73 on his One Day International debut in a losing effort against Australia. He scored 50s in four of the 5 World Cup 1987 matches in which he batted, failing in the semifinal against England. His first ODI century came against Pakistan in Sharjah in 1989 while his 134 against England at Gwalior
in 1993 was his highest ODI score and the innings which he called his
best when he retired in 1999. Sidhu told in an interview that an article
criticising his dismal performance changed his cricketing life. After a
pathetic performance in 1983, Rajan Bala, a noted cricket columnist, wrote an article on him titled "Sidhu: The Strokeless Wonder" in Indian Express.
It was an epiphany that changed his life and he started taking his
cricketing career seriously. After his wonderful performance in 1987
world cup, the same columnist wrote an article titled "Sidhu: From Strokeless Wonder To A Palm-Grove Hitter", applauding his performance.[2]
He scored over 500 Test runs in a year thrice (1993, 1994 and 1997). His only Test double century came during India's 1997 tour of West Indies. In 1994, he scored 884 ODI runs. Sidhu was the first Indian batsman to score more than 5 centuries in one day international.
Sidhu's finest moment in Tests was his 201 against West Indies in 1996-97, a defiant knock lasting 11 hours. Known for his tendency to attack spinners, he cracked eight sixes in 124 against Sri Lanka in 1993-94, and four fifties in five innings against the Australians in 1997-98, deliberately singling out Shane Warne.[3]
He announced his retirement from all forms of cricket in December 1999. He played over 50 Test matches and over 100 ODIs scoring over 7,000 international runs. He has 27 centuries to his credit in an 18-year career.
Some of the nicknames he earned were "Sixer Sidhu" for his prolific batting performances and "Jonty Singh" with respect to his improved fielding in his late career, Jonty Rhodes being the best fielder at that time
